February 27 Its the pictures...okay so last night when I posted I had no pictures of my sweater. I do promise it was finished in time of the flame! :) On friday I shut the computer down and it never restarted, my wonderful sweetheart Mark did a new install on saturday the only thing I bothered to install was msn so I didnt have my paint program that I use to resize photos nor the driver for the camera installed so I did all of that today and took the pictures this morning. :) I couldnt waste precious knitting time doing it over the weekend you know! :)
So anyways here is the finished sweater I promise even though its laying on the couch it is all sewn together and completed!

The collar nearly became the end of me because I didnt pin before I started to sew and was nearly finished sewing when I realised, HMM that looks to short.. so I had to pick it apart and pin then sew it back on.. It worked the second time around! GO ME! :) well not entirely go me Im just to pig headed to do it right the first time! hahaahhaha So anyways now that is finished I have started back up on the baby sweater. That needs to be completed by March 22 then I am going to take a break from knitting and read a book or two but I will pick the knitting back up soon after... I just need to give my poor sweet hands a rest and let them uncramp from being held around a pair of needles for so long now! HAHAHAHAH Oh yeah mom to answer your message to me from yesterday, I dont know why your not seeing when I update my page? Sorry I cant help you :( Keep your cold weather and your frozen nose hairs and even your snow... well no send me the snow but keep everything else! HAHAH We are supposed to turn really cold and snowy here tonight and over the next couple of days. Though I think we are going to be far enough inland not to really be hit,,, can I just say that sucks! I like snow ya know! As for thinking highly of you, I always do! :) And I hope your birdy business goes very well for you and you get some eggs that hatch!!! chirp chirp squawk squawk pretty bird and even polly want a cracker? AHAHAHAHHAHAHA February 26 Its over...Both my knitting and the olympics... Ive finished in time! Its sewn together and everything.. Ill get pictures of it tomorrow...
just wanted to share that it is all finished now!! WOO HOO Im sooo happy! :) who knew that I could actually do a sweater in 16 days.. :) I sure didnt!!! February 25 I will not give up....19 hours and 41 minutes left.. some odd seconds and by the time I write this even more of that time will have lasped... but I will not give up none the less.. okay so Ive got the front the sleeves, the back, the sash, its all knitted,,, all but the sash is sewn on.. Ive casted on and knit 1 row of the collar, yes Im going to sew that on because I can cheat! HA! I suppose I shouldnt laugh but the one thing I hate more then alot of other things is picking up stitches.. what I hate more.. is picking up stitches on a slanted edge... so you see why I have decided knitting it then sewing it on would work out better for me?? :) GOOD!
After I sewn the top bit together so it looks slightly shrug like (hint hint!) I walked into the bedroom with it on and said to my wonderful sweetheart "what do you think?" his remark was "wheres the rest?" HAHAHA I nearly peed myself as for some reason I found it VERY funny... and I said its in the front Ill sew it on later.. :)
Right so Ive done some thinking I really only have about 6 hours left after sleeping and other crap I will be doing tomorrow... I am sure I can get this done.. well I will be working on it till my fingers bleed anyways,.... I want my gold medal dang it!
But for now more then anything I want my bed... so goodnight!
Oh yeah I will post pictures of it all put together tomorrow when I finish.... but like I said I need my bed now.. so goodnight :) February 24 One small step at a time....Ive started the two fronts of my sweater.. working them both at the same time, so far no mistakes *knock on wood* that it continues that way!! :) It is looking nice.. I will take pictures of it tonight after there is more to see and better shaping to look at.. right now its slightly boring and just looks like a big rectangle. :) HAHA
Okay for those of you that read this probably think Im horrible to my mother... Im not.. I love my mother to bits.. Shes one of my best friends.. I just like giving her a hard time now and again, specially when it comes to those dang birds of hers.. Really I think shes pretty smart trying to make a business out of something she loves! So when you see me give my mom a hard time and call her crazy it is always out of teasing her.. In fact its rather the opposite, shes very sane and very smart!!!
Right now Ive gotten that out the way I may continue to laugh at the crazy bird lady who told me shes now got 5 eggs 1 which is probably a dud, and shes got a serious bird brained pair. heheh... *she said that one not me!*
Today, tommorrow, and as much of sunday as I can I will be working hard to finish my knitting. Today when I meet up with friends, yep you guessed it! It will be coming with me.. I aint nuts enough to leave it here and give up ample knitting time. no no no... It will come with me and I will happily sit knitting while drinking coffee and munchin on muffins! or muffin as the case will be..
Quick snow update.. it didnt last.... snowed till 2.30-3 and then turned to rain *sniff* But this morning OMG is it COLD!!! I couldnt even stand downstairs saying bye to Mark for to long or I would have turned into a purple blue icecube! Hopefully it warms up a bit before I have to venture out of my toasty roasty house! haha...
Okay going to catch up on Charmed that I missed last night and knit a couple more rows on my fronts of the sweater.... I still have loads to go but I WILL finish it! I WILL GET GOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. (I hope!) February 23 WE GOT SNOW!!!Okay I have been nicely complaining that we have had no snow this year... well we got snow!!! WOOO HOOO!!!! Started about 6.30 this morning and its stickin! So if it keeps snowing we should get a nice cover of snow! Of course by the time I get ready to run to the store today it would have stopped! HHA Going to be a high of 3-4c today which is around 39F.. so its cold but I got hat (still the one my mother bought me ages ago!) and a scarf I made myself last year, and a pretty winter coat so Ill be warm... did you notice I didnt mention gloves? thats because I couldnt find a pair and didnt manage to make any either.... I will have to do some for next year I suppose. hahaha...
Right onto knitting...
Last night I finished my second sleeve! WOO HOO!! No pictures of it, look at yesterdays looks like the bottom finished one. hahaha Today i will start the front... I do hope I finish.. I dont even know how long I have left.. what 3 or 4 days? Fingers crossed i can do it in time! :) Going to try and work both together since its easy stst on them.. its more to get the decreases properly in place on BOTH sides.. so going to work on that today Ill let you all know how I get one...
But now Im off to knit and gaze at the snow falling.... :) February 21 I make myself laugh....Okay I love my mom with all my heart. Shes my best friend really.. But oh I do make myself laugh. I kept forgetting to put her blog up under the ones I read. Now I read my moms every day she posts thanks to msn letting me know its been updated.... And its all about her birds... So of course I had to put her under "The Crazy Bird Lady"! hahahahahaaha
okay right now off of my mom and her birds and on to the knitting...
I have finished the sash, the back, and one sleeve.... I am working on the second sleeve now... Illl take some pictures and show you but theres really not much to show! :)
See there isnt much to see.. but that is the completes sleeve on the bottom with the second in progress sleeve on top.... After messing them up the first time roundmore then once I gave up and have decided to work each seperate... I am makingVERY SLOW progress butI am hoping that with a renewed sense of I dont want to failitis I will work really hard and finish it all off in the remaining 6 days! WISH ME LUCK! hahah... btw Thats my pj bottoms in pink, dont they rock? thy are pink!!! :D and those are my kick butt Tigger slippers that my good friends Adam and Stevie got me for xmas/birthday pressie! They are so warm and fuzzy! :D Ive watched a couple movies recently as well... Nanny Mcphee That one I have to say if you have kids is a must see! Pride and Prejudice the new one with Kierra Knightly Ive never seen any of the other ones made so that movie for me was enjoyable to watch! And last night I watched Wallace and Grommit Curse of the were rabbit.... and all I gotta say is Kiss my arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr tichoke! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I went in to Mark after I watched that yesterday and said that to him laughing and he just gave me one of his goofy smiles.. Hey everyones gotta be a kid sometimes you know! :) Alright thats all for me today Ill bring more updates on the sleeve tomorrow hopefully theres more to it! :) As of today I have 6.5in to it hopefully another 6 or so will be added to it today! here hoping! :) February 16 Dissapointment....I was doing so well!....
I finished the back of my sweater and that is folded up awaiting the rest of its family members. hehe... I started the sleeves yesterday once the back was finished. I decided I had wanted to work BOTH sleeves together, shouldnt be a problem!:) Oh but there was! I was nearly finished with the cuff (yes I was knitting slow!) and then I realised I messed up and I werent sure where but I knitted on sleeve more then the other so I slid them off the needle and wrapped them back around the bll to start. I suppose realy I could have tried to fix it but I couldnt be bothered.. hmm maybe I should have been! So then I casted back on for both sleeves and I ws going to pay close attention to make sure I didnt mess up this time! I still managed to! one sleeve ended up a stitch short fter the third row,I couldnt take it any more so I tossed the second sleeve to the side and decided that was to much like hard work, pulled out my trusty row counter and set to work knitting... did 2 rows on the sleeve, how good am I? NOT! So no pictures, I will have some tomorrow though of the finished back and what I manage to knit of the sleeve today, I do hopeALOT more then 2 rows! haha
We got Marks monitor and it works and is fine! Thanks for that! :) I will still stand by my thinking of the people who work for sharp have their ties pulled to tight and something up their backside because the ones I talked to the other day didnt seem to nice and were unhelpful just kept telling me to call different people but really didnt say who they were... specially the last guy telling me to call a completely different company. UGH! Oh well.. its fixed and I dont have to deal with em anymore!:) February 15 How do you like your rainbows?Alright because I know my mom is as mental about rainbows as I am and must look at them every chance given... I have GOT to tell you yesterday I seen the PREEEEETTTTIIIIEEEESSSTTTTTT rainbow out the front window.. It was so BIG and so BRIGHT! I wanted to take pictures but I didnt. :( I should have and just smiled if someone thought I looked like an idiot... but instead I sat in the window just smiling at it.. I swear it was the biggest one I have seen for some time now and WOW was it bright you could see every colour clear as day.... :)
So its not gotten cold like they said it would but the clouds are there for rain and it seems to rain, but Ive been lucky and havent gotten stuck out in it, becuase every time I go out there are grey clouds but the sun is out and the majority of the sky is blue... but last night the big stuff was meant to have gone over us.. I dont know if it did or not, I was sleeping.. not sure what it will be like today but through the curtains its looking brightish so hopefully today willl be another nice day. Mom you can keep your -16c thank you so much Ill keep our high of about 10c... :) I can finally say HA your colder then us....
OKay now for my knitting, I have decided not to take a picture of it today as it looks the same as yesterday except it now measures 11.25 inches.. So another 2.75in before I get to shape the shoulders and bind off to start the fronts.. If I keep knitting the way I have been I just MIGHT actually get this sweater done, oh I do hope I do!
Okay away from knitting again, Monday night the monitor for Marks machine died, or so he thought, everything was plugged in, it just refused to recognize it had power to it. So yesterday I went on a search for the reciept no luck but called the place we bought it from and they gave me the number to sharp, the company whos monitor it is. So I call them go thru their automated telephone system to be GIVEN ANOTHER NUMBER!!! How stupid is that? dont even talk to anyone just given a number straight away from a computer! So anyways call this new number do their automated number system and then wait on hold for the next available person finally get ahold of one to be told call ANOTHER phone number, whats up with these people and what happend to them connecting you? GEESH! anyways another phone call another automated number system and yet another 10 minute hold to get ahold of a guy who gives me yet another phone number to a company who doesnt have the sharp name. This guy gives me no information just their name and number and tells me to call them. GREAT! so another phone call to this company a wait on hold, no automated number system just straight to waiting about 5-10 minutes later this lady picks up. VERY helpful I might add and really polite. I was so upset by this point becuase I had no clue what I was supposed to say to her. But I told her what had happened to the monitor and sharp told me to call her, so she says "do you have a refernce number?" My reply back to her which I now laugh at was "no, but where do I find it on the monitor?" HAHAHA She went what? I said I dont have one but if you tell me where to find it on here Ill give it to you because sharp didnt give me a number or anything and didnt tell me what to expect from you. She laughed and said lets start from the begining... So we sorted it out and she said she would call back within an hour and let me know the state of play with the monitor I said GREAT THANKS! probably 20 minutes later because I stuck in a movie watched 2 trailors and it was 11 minutes into the movie the phone rang it was the same lady I had just spoken to telling me at some stage today a guy will be dropping off a new montior and picking up the old one. Easy as that, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy! So anyways, mark comes home and take the monitor off and I tell him to use mine for the night I dont need it, you know the whole knitting thing... so he takes mine and mine works fine on the machine (well after he uncloged the fan to the graphicscard) so I told him try yours on mine, he did, it worked, GREAT I can call them today and cancel the delivery and explain the mistake right? Because themonitor is now seeing it has power... wrong... he connects it back up to the bedroom and it works andthen stopped working againand he had to bring it in here hookit up then take it back into the bedroom... Not sure why that is but its going back today because yes it decides when it doesnt want to not have power to it and when it does and we cant be dealing with that so take it back and get an unfaulty one!:) Now I play the waiting game of when they will turn up. She said hopefully before 12 but cant promise anything except before 5.... I did at least get dressed but Im doing nothing else in case they turn up in the middle of it... Ill do eveyrthing afterwards.....

OKay onto the knitting... heres what I did last night. :)
As you can see around 6 inches completed! Im happy with that considering it was monday and I dont seem to knit as much as I normally do in the weekends... Hopefully tonight I make another good dent into the knitting! :) I have to think of something romantic to make for dinner tonight though and I dont know what to do... go figure! Alright off to knit and watch Sisterhood of the Travling pants before something starts in the olympics that I really want to watch. :) Have great day everyone... **And Mark.. love you! :) ** February 12 I am GOOD......I finished off the pink bit just now! WAAAA HOOOO!!! I am good... I could cast on in green and start working the back but im going to give my hands a rest and save that until tomorrow.... Im also thinking of slightly changing the pattern by adding some green to the bottom... we will wait and see though before I do that! :)

Arent me jeans purddy? yes that is my big ole legs modeling the sash because when I went in and showed my finished product to Mark he laughed at me... perhaps it was how silly I will admit I looked wearing it... I just werent dressed properly! HAHA But I am proud of how much I knitted in two days.... I dont know how well I will do from now on becuase its the week, and I notice I dont tend to do as much knitting during the week as I do on the weekends for some reason.. hmmm.... perhaps it feels like work? naw that cant be it... honestly I dont know! Anyways off to get some mail checked because I have lovingly ignored it all day and now its time to check it..... I just have to say the olympics were great fun watching today, specially the two americans winning the medals for the half pipe... that was sick.... as I am guessing they would say.. I do hope I said it right, one of them said the course was sick, and it did make me laugh so Ive been waiting to use that all day... Right I am off, take care everyone!! :) February 11 Look at me grow....Today while watching the olympics I knitted loads! Im very proud of myself!! :) Look for yourself at my progress! :)
Nearly 4 inches finished.... just have to do 7 then getta bind off and start with the green wool! WOO HOO It really does look pretty because its at night Im not able to get the best lighting to result in a good picture.. I do hate that! But what can I do? :) As for medals so far we have Germany with two golds, I watched Gries in the Biathalon and I must say I was impressed! Dont think I could have done that! Didnt see the other one, or should I say I werent paying that much attention. *blush* Canada and America both have a gold... I seen Jennifer get hers for Canada just now in a replay! Shame I didnt seem USA get theirs, but I havent seen any of the speed skating I only see whats shown to me on the telly! :) Norway is doing really well with 4, 2 silver which I seen both and thought they were well deserved as well! :) Dont remember seeing them get teh 2 bronze, but well done! :) Austria and the Netherlands each have a silver, congrats! And France and Italy each have a silver, congrats as well! Wonder what will come tomorrow in the way of medals, you can be sure I will watch whatever I can on the tv! I didnt get to see very much of the louge, which is a shame I do like it! But there are two more runs tomorrow so maybe I will see that! I know they are doing mens sking of some sort tomorrow morning, and they are showing that, Ill be watching! :) I thought the pairs figure skating was lovely to watch tonight! I was oooing and ahhhhing all evening watching it! Cant wait until Monday when the long skate is on I am sure there will be more oos and aaas coming from me! :) Right with all the excitment today I am tired! So I am now going to find my bed and climb into it and dream of more olympic watching tomorrow and knitting! hopefully I can carry on tomorrow what I started today and finish off with the pink sash I am working on so that Monday I can cast on for the upper body in green! Ill let you know how I get on tomorrow before going to bed again! :) GOOD NIGHT!!! The games have started....The opening cermonies were lovely! The skier that they made was WAY COOL!! Mark didnt watch them as hes just not into that sort of thing so as soon as they finished him I went and told him about it right away and he thought it was cool, though if he had seen it I am sure he would have appreciated it much more then just what I was able to say... Evidentually they got that wrong in practice earlier in the day but yet pulled it off that night! :) I missed some of the opening cermonies due to changing the channel and then getting up for a while to talk to Mark but I still seen most of it and thought it was really cool.
As for my knitting..... I will show in a second! :) The rules were stated where ever you are in the world you can start at 2pm your time. Well I thought that a bit unfair to others so I waited until the actually start of the opening cermonies and that was 7pm here! WOO HOO while that was on I casted on (took me ages becuase I kept recounting my stitches swearing I had them wrong!) so I didnt get AS MUCH done s I had hoped but I still got a nice little bit... heres proof! and look my pretty stitch marker I got out of Simply Knitting a mag I buy monthly!
Remember this bit is worked in the round so Im working 210 sts each row and theres like 8 rows I worked... so like I said not as much as I had hoped for but it was the stupid counting! I swear next time I will have an easier/better method for counting that many stitches! :) (like more stitch markers! hehe) Okay now I have showed off my work Im going to get back to knitting!!! I just woke up have had half a cup of coffee took the picture and now Im itching to get my knitting! :) And heres who I will be supporting these olympic games : GO USA!!! GO CANADA!!! GO GREAT BRITAIN!! Yep all three! Got a problem with it? TUFF! And Ive changed to my own knitting team of GO ME! hahaahahahahahahahahaha February 10 WAAAHOOOOOToday I got my Stitch N Bitch Designers Journal!! THANK YOU AGAIN BONNY FOR ORDERING IT FOR ME!!!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO happy to get it, I had a quick look at it in town and was happy with what I seen. I knew it wasnt going to be like her other books Stitch n Bitch Nation and The Knitters Handbook (by Debbie Stoller) and thats fine! Because I dont want that. Im interested in doing my own patterns and am hoping that this will really help me out. I want to do what I like and what makes me happy and thats knitting and making something 100% my own would be even better,,, okay so I will buy someone elses wool but thats alright too! haah... So WOOO HOO I am happy and just had to tell yall!! (and my darling mother isnt allowed to yell at me because I didnt cuss its the title of the book.. HA! Im still your good angel!)
Also I think I am going to give up on this hat Im so desperately trying to crochet, its just looking to much like a well just a big mess and looks like it will still be far to big for my head so I think I will tear it apart for good this time... I havent printed off my pattern yet and I so must do that tonight by 6... will have to do it actualy before my sweetie gets home from work so I have it done and not climbing over him to get to the printer! :)
Also as for the baby sweater, the front and back are completed the sleeves have been torn apart and are sitting nicely wrapped up in two balls again, i will do those after the olympics regardless the state of my sweater. I was so hacked off that I mess them up I didnt even want to look at the yarn or I would have cried! So hopefully when I start them again I will pay even more attention that I will get them done properly and not mess them up! :) Yes I should have been done with them and had the baby sweater sewn up and ready to be given away but like I said I was so mad I just couldnt look at them! Perhaps if I finish it and still have lots left over I will make a little scarf to match, but that all depends on the amount of yarn left over because if there isnt enough then there is no point in the scarf! and it will be a key hole which means you can slip one side through the other to keep it nicely secured on him! :)
I will take pictures hopefully daily of the progress I make on the sweater and will take some at the end of the night to show the progress Ive made with the first bit of sweater, I dont know how much will be done because the first bit will be worked in the round so it make take slightly longer but HEY! I just realised, I get to use my nifty stitch markers on this project! WOO HOO Ive been waiting to be able to use them and now I will have my excuse! :)
Its going to be rainy windy and cold this weekend so perfect weather to stay curled up in front of the tv knitting and watching the olympics! :) Happy Knitting everyone!
And to my mom, who loves her birds dearly, and has like 7 pair, I hope they do better when you switch their cages around, keep the doggie out the room, and they hump like mad, and give you lots of feathered grandbirdies! :) February 09 Today is Thursday ....But it doesnt mean its any more special then any other day, EXCEPT FOR!!!..... TOMORROW START THE OPENING CERMONIES FOR THE OLYMPICS! I love watching them, and the winter olympics have to be by far my fav. Marks is the summer, the only thing I realy like from the summer is the gym stuff, bars, rings, things like that... but with the winter I dont thinnk there is anything that I dont like. I even like watching the speed skating! HAHAH... So yep I am excited. As well as it starts the knitting olympics, so tonight I will by printing up they kyoto from knitty.com pattern and Ive already got every that I need in the way of yarn and needles. I will work day and night to finish this in time if I have to.. alright maybe not THAT MUCH but I will finish it by the end of the year if I dont finish it within the 16 days....
Alright so right now Im crocheting a hat, but I swear if I have to rip it apart one more time Im going to scream!!!! I just ripped it apart of the THIRD time, it kept looking VERY wrong like it was going to fit the head of a 20 eyed *in a row!!!* monster and not me! But becuase Ive never made a hat I kept on going, finally I had enough said this is WRONG so re read this stupid pattern and the way they worded it is silly, but anyways I figured it out and am now starting over again at a set point that stops the increasing... So h opefully it will come out right this time, when will it be finished? WHO THE HECK KNOWS!!!!!! Ive ripped it 3 times already whos to say I wont rip it 100 more times? HAHAHAHAH
OKay this is a note to my wonderful funny loving beautiful mother... You taught me not to forget my keys when I leave the house, yes... Otherwise how was I supposed to sneak back in the house at 3am without waking everyone up? HAHAHA okay thats a joke! But no seriously I always have my keys on me when I leave, unless Im taking the garbage out and thats only because all the doors are left wide open so that I am sure not to lock myself out... I dont know why I forgot them the other day.. and you are one to talk, you never have your keys, yet both your wonderful husband and wonderful step son broke or bent their key in the door and yet you STILL dont carry your keys! You should take a lesson out of your own book there.. :P *Im running before your able to catch me and beat me! HAHAHA* LOVE YOU MOM! February 06 Im just an idiot today.....I have to say Ive been a bit of an idiot today... earlier I went to town and I had my phone on me thankfully but I forgot my keys in the house! Thankfully Mark was home from work... so that allowed me to call him to let me in when I got back from town... So that should have said DONT LEAVE WITHOUT YOUR KEYS! What did I do AGAIN this evening when I ran down the road to the store? yep you guessed it, I FORGOT MY KEYS! But worse I also forgot my phone, so here I sat banging on the front door hoping that he would hear me and come let me in! HAHAHHA I could have rang the doorbell but it doesnt work... I felt like a right idiot.. finally he lets me in and he laughed called me a muppet and said if I forget my keys AND phone tomorrow I will be in trouble because hes not going to be here! HAHAAH What an idiot was I to forget my keys twice in one day?!? *sigh* Mondays happenings...Alright Im mad.. I accidentally deleted my progress photos of my baby sweater! I thought I was in another folder... ARG!!!
I wasnt going to show this, but now I am! Here WAS the sleeve and what this bit of the 4 row pattern looks like... This is my crocheted hat close up that I am working on, when its finished Ill show it off ..... so far it just looks like a bit of a coaster or something! HAHAHA
And also here is the sock thats sorta been pushed to the side that is a toe up sock! :) Thats my randomness for today! Will be setting the hat to the side tonight while I do dinner because we are having spag and meatballs tonight with fresh tomato sauce... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yummie! Looking forward to starting that here in about an hour or so.... only have 24 tomatoes to peel and deseed tonight! hahahhahahaha See you all later on, btw, the colour of the hat is a light lavender (look back to the socks I did, same yarn just whats left over from it!) these socks are pink, and the sweater is a blue.... I dont know what yarn the hat is, as I lost the lable, but the sweater is Sirdar Snuggly DK and the sock is Sirdar Snuggly either 2 or 3 ply cant find the ball band to that one either! YIKES I need to stop losing and deleting things today!! February 05 Sundays here...Well its Sunday anyways and its still got half the day left then its over...
I was doing REALLY well on my sleeves... notice I said WAS???????? Because now they are torn apart and wrapped back up into two nice balls of yarn... Im so mad! I was nearly completed with all of the shaping and then I looked and on ONE sleeve there was somehow a screw up in the sleeve, im not sure where it came from because the other sleeve there wasnt one!! so I tried to fix it with NO luck! but of course this was after I had knitted loads more.... whatever.... so then I ripped that sleeve apart and continued on with the other one.. 3 rows of knitting that sleeve I realised I had messed it up too!! So what did I do you ask? Yep I RIPPED that one out as well! so now I will be starting ALLLLLLLL over with my two sleeves tonight or tomorrow.. I havent decided yet when I will try to redo it. :) I werent a happy bunny! HAHAHAH
Thats really it.. so now Im off to get dressed finally... 4pm I been lazy today! oh I love sundays for that! :) February 02 Been a couple of days....Its been a couple of days since updating in here.... I havent started the sleeves of the baby sweater yet, but I am thinking of starting those tonight. And because they will be baby size I will work both at the same time so they are equal in length and style, will take "longer" because of working both together. I say "longer" because it will be the same amount just feel like it takes "longer" because both are going at the same time and will grow slower. But thats alright.
Im sorta working on my toe up sock I didnt really do to much to it last night and it is very boring looking because theres no pattern or anything to it, just pink so no pictures (that and I keep forgetting to take a picture of it as well as all the double A batteries have been taken from me and are in use else where! HAHA)
So what have I been up to you ask.. well lets see... Monday didnt really do to much went to town and posted off for 2 dvds that are coming from the same lady. Where The Heart Is and another one but they were together andit worked out cheaper to get the two then it did just to get Where The Heart Is on its own. Ive only been trying to get that dvd for 3 years now.. I FINALLY GOT THE WALMART BABY MOVIE! WOO HOO well I will have it in the next couple of days when it turns up in the post! :)
On Tuesday I went into town to meet up with a really nice lady named Helen. We had lunch and walked about town checking out some coffee shops and also showing her the local yarn store and I got to laugh and say our yarn store is better then yours even though I dont think they sell enough of the scrummy yarns that I know other do. But I still like what they do sell. We also talked more about trying to get together a knitting group started which reminds me Im supposed to be emailing her about that! YIKES! I must do that tonight...
Wednesday, what did I do yesterday? oh yeah went to town and posted off something for Mark. I think a Missy Elliot dvd?? and thats really about all I did....well other then clean...
Today I slept until 10am yes I was completely lazy! And after I got ready and was about to go to the store I seen we had some post and it was my birthday and xmas card from Dad, Wendi, Steve and all the kids... In it was a lovely surprise, some money.. Hmm lets think what thats going to be spent on... YARN! heheh... okay seriously it was a lovely surprise! :) Even if the cards are over a month late! And they were only posted on Monday so that didnt even take 4 days to get here, cant complain about the mail service then!
So thats the update really.... But like I said tonight I should cast on for the baby sweater because in 14 DAYS!!! WOO HOO The olympics start, both Winter sports and Winter Knitting! :) I am really excited about BOTH! because I will be doing my kyoto jumper and watching figure skating, cant ask for much more really can you? Well I cant anyways when it comes to two things I enjoy!
